Our Mission
At Hope Still Lives, our mission is to transform pain into purpose and awareness into action. We are beginning with Breast Cancer Awareness—honoring survivors, supporting fighters, and remembering those we’ve lost. Through meaningful designs and empowering products, we shine a light on hope, strength, and resilience.

Our Vision
Our vision is to grow beyond a single ribbon. While we start with pink, we aim to honor every color and every story—bringing awareness to all forms of cancer. Hope Still Lives will expand into a movement that unites communities, uplifts voices, and ensures that every fighter and every survivor knows they are never alone. Our long-term goal is to become a year-round hub of hope, support, and awareness for all who have been touched by cancer.

Hi, I’m April McGuire, founder of Second Freedom Collective and the heart behind Hope Still Lives. Nine years ago, I faced one of life’s hardest battles — Breast Cancer. That fight tested my strength but also fueled my mission to create something bigger than myself.
As a Survivor, Consultant, and Creator, I’ve dedicated my life to helping others rise — whether it’s through financial education, credit restoration, business building, or creative expression. With Hope Still Lives, I’ve merged my Survivor story with my passion for design to honor every Fighter, every Survivor, and every loved one touched by cancer.
This journey is not just business — it’s personal. Through art, apparel, books, and digital resources, I aim to create a legacy of Hope, Empowerment, and Awareness. While we begin with Breast Cancer Awareness, Hope Still Lives is a movement for every ribbon — because every battle, every story, and every voice deserves to be honored.
